\u201cDarkest Hour\u201d — Gary Oldman – a virtuoso, a man possessed by his own craft.\u00a0 Well, back in 1986, the film “Sid & Nancy” was arguably one of the top five performances of the 1980s.\u00a0 A thespian was born and Alex Cox sculpted a brilliant performance.\u00a0 Present day, the veteran thespian GOD amazes and within the confines of non-fiction but somehow the supernova performance seems less than extraordinary because even though the story takes place during an important time in human history, the delivery lacks all inventiveness.<\/span><\/div>\n
