Isle of Dogs – Movie Review

Once again, Director Wes Anderson does not disappoint with this telling story of a 12 year old boy, ATARI KOBAYASHI, who sets off on a secret mission to rescue his dog, SPOTS, who has been quarantined to an island with all the dogs of Japan during a dog flu epidemic.  During the mission, the young boy is aided by a scruffy bunch of dogs voiced by an all star cast (Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Akira Ito, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, Frances McDormand, Bill Murray, and others).  Not only is it funny but touching in many ways and reflective of society, politics, and the human spirit.
